Software Engineering Intern

Dok Noord, Ghent · Internship · 2nd semester · ±3 months

The internship

We have real technical challenges we want to solve. You'll pick one together with our engineering team, own it and build something we can actually use.

Possible projects

  • Development cycle automation. Make our development cycle faster and smarter, with a focus on automated testing.
  • One-click agent deployment. Turn an agent definition into a running agent on Azure AI Foundry, Vercel or other runtimes. Ideally: one click.
  • Bring your own idea. See a technical opportunity we haven't? Challenge us.

The exact project is open for discussion. We'll choose it together.

What you'll own

  • Understand the problem.
  • Explore and challenge different approaches.
  • Build, test and iterate.
  • Work in our actual stack and engineering environment.
  • Use AI heavily in your development workflow.
  • Get something into production where possible.

Build > PowerPoint.

What success looks like

  • Week 2: your project is chosen and scoped in a one-page plan.
  • Halfway: a working version runs in our environment.
  • End: merged or in production, with tests and docs, demoed to the team and used every week. For example, CI runs it on every PR, or an agent deploys in one click to at least one runtime.

Not just a proof of concept that disappears after your internship.

You

  • Software engineering, computer science, applied informatics or similar.
  • You like building and figuring things out.
  • Comfortable exploring technology you don't know yet.
  • Interested in AI, agents, automation and modern developer tooling.
  • Independent, but smart enough to ask for help when needed.

You don't need to know our stack upfront. Being able to figure things out matters more.
