The role
We're looking for a Product Engineer who cares about how software works, how it feels, and whether customers actually understand it.
You'll work across the stack, with a strong focus on product and UX. And you'll work with customers.
Talk to customers. Spot the problem. Build the fix. Ship it.
What you'll own
- Build product features across our React/TypeScript stack.
- Improve onboarding, approval flows, analytics and our Control Room.
- Build the backend endpoints your features need.
- Help grow our design system.
- Join customer onboardings and demos.
- Help customers configure connections, policies, skills and agents.
- Turn what you learn into product improvements.
- Use AI coding agents daily and review their output critically.
You'll start with well-defined features. As you grow, we want you to own larger parts of the product experience end-to-end.
What success looks like
- First month: your first feature is in production, and you've joined a customer onboarding.
- 3 months: you own one area end to end (onboarding, approvals or analytics) and ship to production every week.
- 6 months: you take a problem from customer conversation to production without us. New teams get to their first connected tool noticeably faster.
- 12 months: you own the product experience, and fewer “how do I…” questions reach us.
You
- Strong React and TypeScript.
- Solid HTML/CSS and some backend experience.
- You care about UX and notice when things feel unnecessarily complicated.
- You enjoy talking to customers.
- You learn fast and ask “why”.
- You take ownership instead of waiting for the next ticket.
- Clear English.
B2B SaaS, AWS, AI agents, MCP, Figma, Teams or Slack experience is a plus.
Why airlock
Small team. Real customers. Fast releases.
You'll work closely with both founders, get strong mentoring and gradually take on more ownership.
We'll give you the problem, not the solution.
Employee stock after your first year. If we win, you win with us.
If it works, we ship it.
